Mom Hits Back At Man That Harasses Her For Breastfeeding In Public With The Brutal Truth

What’s more important: a baby’s comfort as they feed, or a stranger’s discomfort because of something that wasn’t their business to begin with? I think we all know the answer to that question. The issue of whether a mother has the right to openly breastfeed in public has come up again — somehow.

After going to H&R Block with her baby, Avery Lane was told to leave after a manager asked her to cover up and she refused. Avery’s amazing response has people talking on Facebook and you need to read it for yourself.

One thing is clear, people still don’t seem to understand that breastfeeding is a mother’s right.

Again and again you hear stories about someone shaming a mother for breastfeeding in public or telling her to cover her baby’s head. It’s a boob, get over it. More importantly, should a baby be uncomfortable because a grown-ass adult feels a smidgen of discomfort? Hell naw.

In fact, several instances of this harassment have popped up online recently.

One mom in Connecticut was verbally attacked by a man in Target for breastfeeding in public and Target employees had to come to her defense.

Another woman, Avery Lane, has people talking online after a killer response she laid on a man that harassed her for breastfeeding in public.

In a Facebook post, Avery explained what happened to her: “So I was breastfeeding my 2 month old at a H&R Block on a military post when the manager asked me ‘Can you cover up with a towel or something?'”

Obviously, not what she expected to hear. Avery was shocked and decided that she needed to say something to the man.
